Adomo
AI business process automationAn alternative to RPA

Run the process. Handle the exceptions.

Adomo runs finance and operations processes across your tools, handles exceptions within your rules, and routes consequential steps to the right person for approval before money moves.Adomo handles the exceptions your bots leave behind. It reads each case, applies your rules, and routes consequential steps to a human for approval before money moves across your systems.

No bots to build Handles the exceptions Approvals before money moves Plans from $100/month
Why the last attempt did not finish

The bots work. The exceptions still queue up.

Robotic process automation records what a person does on a screen and replays it. That works for stable, high-volume tasks. A step that needs a judgement call still goes to a person.

Your bots can keep handling the predictable cases while the exception queue grows. A vendor’s screen redesign adds another maintenance job, even when the underlying process has not changed.

Adomo uses system interfaces to read the documents and records behind an exception. It applies the rules you wrote in plain English and escalates cases that need a person. Screen redesigns do not affect that process, and a new exception type does not require a new bot.

Where it earns its keep

The processes that eat the last week of the month.

These recurring processes cross several systems and need judgement when records do not match. Adomo runs each process with your approval gates in place.

Financial close

SAP QuickBooks
  • Pull actuals and compute variance Monthly
  • Chase the owners of flagged lines Until answered
  • Draft the commentary Monthly
  • Route the pack for sign-off On approval

Turns the close from a week of chasing into a review of a drafted pack, with the CFO still signing it.

Accounts payable

SAP Odoo
  • Match invoice to PO and receipt Continuous
  • Read the ones that do not match Per exception
  • Route within the spend policy Per invoice
  • Hold anything outside policy Always

Adomo reads invoices that fail the three-way match, applies your spend policy and holds the cases it cannot resolve.

Order to cash

HubSpot QuickBooks
  • Raise invoices on closed-won Continuous
  • Chase overdue by age and size Weekly
  • Flag disputes to the owner Per case

Collections stop depending on whether anyone had time to run the ageing report this week.

Procurement

SAP Slack
  • Raise the PO from an approved requisition On request
  • Check the vendor against the allowlist Per PO
  • Route by amount and department Per PO
  • Chase the acknowledgement Until received

Adomo checks the vendor and spend policy, routes the PO for approval, and chases the acknowledgement.

Why the runs finish

A month-end close cannot restart on Thursday.

Adomo’s execution engine saves progress as the process runs. After an outage, it resumes at the failed step and keeps completed steps intact to prevent duplicate postings.

Before money moves

The steps that spend still stop for a person.

A finance workflow can commit your organisation to a purchase or payment. Set approval gates for those actions before the process runs.

Thresholds you already have

Your delegation-of-authority matrix and spend limits are the policy. Adomo checks the proposed action against them before it executes, so a $9,000 approval path and a $90,000 one stay different.

Route approval to a named person

Routing goes by amount, role or department, with escalation if nobody answers and delegation when the named approver is away. The process waits for an authorized person to approve.

Questions from finance and operations.

We already have RPA bots. Does this replace them?
Start with one process the bots cannot finish, such as the exception queue they feed. Run it on Adomo alongside what you have. Bots that work on stable, high-volume tasks can keep working; you can decide later whether maintaining them is worthwhile.
What happens when an invoice does not match anything?
Adomo reads the invoice, pulls the relevant records and applies your tolerance rules. It either resolves the case within policy or holds it with a note explaining what it could not reconcile.
How does it handle a system we cannot expose an API for?
Most enterprise systems have an interface even when there is no public API, and internal ones connect over MCP. Tell us about any unreachable system during scoping so we can check whether the process is suitable for a pilot.
Does this need our data to leave our environment?
Self-serve plans run in Adomo's cloud. Enterprise deploys into your own VPC on AWS, GCP or Azure, or fully on-prem and air-gapped with no outbound calls except to the model endpoint you designate. Same product and same governance at every tier.
How does the cost scale with volume?
You pay for a monthly plan with a credit budget for model usage. Overages are metered at your plan’s rate. Adomo routes simpler steps to less expensive models, so routine invoice matches use less of the budget.
Who owns the process once it runs?
The finance or operations lead who owns the policy can maintain the process. They edit the SOP in plain English to change how it behaves, without an engineering ticket or a vendor change request.
What can stop a process from finishing?
A missing rule can stop a run. Adomo enforces the policy you give it, so a step that depends on an unwritten assumption is held for review. Expect the first runs to expose some of those gaps. Add the missing rules to the policy before trying again.
